It might take you a while to get used to new ways of working. But if all else fails, go old school and pick up the phone!
However you stay in touch with colleagues and clients, make sure you take some time to disconnect. Those moments when everything is on pause are really important — they can sometimes trigger unexpected ideas too.
Don’t rely entirely on apps
This project management tool isn’t just for project managers. It’s a great way for remote teams to keep conversations and assets contained in one place. You can create to-do lists and schedules, start conversations and add documents in real time. At the end of the day, you’ll get a round-up of all the activity on your project.
There are lots of meditation apps out there. But this is the one some of our team members recommend. There are hundreds of meditation practices to choose from and plenty of music to aid concentration. Our favourite feature is the sleep stories. You don’t have to be a child to enjoy a good bedtime story!
